During the 27th and 28th of April 2022, bus4.me has been present at the industrial fair Go Mobility by Mubil at Ficoba in Irún. More than 100 companies and agents of the new sustainable mobility have exhibited the latest developments in the market at the third edition of the fair. Organised by Mubil and under the slogan ‘Present and future of sustainable mobility’, with the support of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, the Basque Government and the Basque Energy Agency, this is the most important fair held in southern Europe in the sustainable mobility ecosystem.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy General of Gipuzkoa, Markel Olano; the Minister of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government, Arantxa Tapia; the President of the Mubil Foundation and the Deputy of Economy, Tourism and Rural Environment, Jabier Larrañaga; the Deputy Minister of Industry of the Basque Government, Mikel Amundarain; and the Director of Mubil, Ane Insausti. The opening speech of the fair was given by the Director General of the EIT Urban Mobility, Maria Tsavachidis.
During these two days, it was explained how the implementation and management of on-demand transport with bus4.me can help to achieve cleaner, faster and more efficient mobility. In this way, the success story of ElMeuBus DX in the industrial area of Les Comes de Igualada, implemented with the on-demand transport system of bus4.me, was presented.
